In January 2020, I and two fellow animation students began working with the production team for Northeastern University's performance of 'She Kills Monsters' by Qui Nguyen. Our goal was to create three animated sequences to correspond with scenes in the play. I was responsible for the prologue sequence.
This is the initial animatic show to the production team.
Here is the animation without audio. Originally, the animation was going to play as the actors performed live in front of it. Due to Covid-19, plans changed and the performance switched to a prerecorded event.
The final piece! In October 2021, audience members watched 'She Kill Monsters' through their assorted video-playing devices.
